In New York City, Nike’s got a league completely dedicated to those who work in the sports, apparel, and athletic industry. It’s called the NRF League, and, if there website or 3-point contest is any indication (Bobbito won it!), they take their game very seriously. The Swoosh even blessed them with their very own Air Force I (1). The shoe features a black bottom, patent blue top, with shiny silver accents. NRF’s logo is printed in white on the heel. The Nike NRF Air Force I (1) will remain exclusive to those participating in the league, and will not hit stores.

Nike Air Force 1 (One) - Black History Month 2009

Every year, Nike celebrates Black History Month with the release of a new sneaker honoring the important month. This year’s base model is the Nike Air Force 1 (One) and it features a black, red, and green upper. Much thought and effort went into designing this pair by Nike and it is quite evident through the lasered graphic on the rear as well as the marble midsole which is meant to represent the courtrooms of the U.S. Supreme Court where many monumentous civil rights battles were fought. This pair also yields a red inner lining, red and green stitching, and a black midsole. Unfortunately, these will not release to the public and only three pairs were given away through a contest held by Nike in Miami, Florida. Via The305.
