It’s been a number of months since we’ve heard of another Mark Gonzales and Adidas collaboration, which have become commonplace in the sneaker world. Well, the renowned skateboarder and artist is back at it again. This time, he worked on the Adidas Nizza Hi, which first debuted in the 1970’s. This pair comes with some of Mark’s own art on the embroidered tongue patch and around the heel. And the three blue stripes give the otherwise mostly white shoe the rest of the sneaker’s color, while laying on an entirely rubber outsole. Select Adidas retailers are stocked with these now, for those of you who desire this very athletic Adidas design.

KG’s favorite team is Chelsea Football Club from the English Premier League; thus, adidas and Bodega have teamed up to create this limited edition Kevin Garnett TS Commander LT Pack. The pack includes a Chelsea FC jersey with Garnett’s name and number, a Bodega x Chelsea FC scarf, and a limited edition Chelsea FC colorway of the adidas TS Commander LT. Adidas is by no means a stranger to drawing inspiration from team logos and applying them on a sneaker model. This time around, the Adidas Centennial is the canvas and the inspiration for this pack comes from a group of five Eastern Conference NBA teams. Although we got a sneak peek of this pack earlier on in the year, we now have a good look at five sneakers that draw inspiration from the Orlando Magic, Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, and New York Knicks, respectively. One would think that restyling a boat shoe would be crazy enough. Adidas doesn’t seem to think so, as the Adidas ZX700 Boat shoe comes in a suede zebra design. The shoe features an allover black and white colorway, with a white midsole and black outsole. The black toebox connects to the black inner lining, and nicely contrasts with the gold trefoil on the tongue. This shoe is available for pre-order online overseas for a hefty sum of $140.

Forgoing the trademark 3-Stripes branding, Adidas chose to model the shoe around a simple execution-based platform, a timeless statement proving to be successful even today. Now, nearly four decades later, nine global Consortium partners have been given the opportunity to revamp the instant classic with their choice of color, fabric, and detail work. The images unveiled this week include an original colorway as well as the works of New York’s ‘Dave’s Quality Meat‘, Barcelona’s ‘LimitEDitions‘, LA’s ‘Undefeated‘, and ‘VA’ of Tokyo. Available in extremely limited qualities, you can expect these models to pop up at Consortium retailers throughout August and September.

The Adidas Nations’ basketball tournament held next week in Dallas, Texas will feature the top under-18 year old basketball players in the world. They will play in exhibition games in tournament style whilst guided by NBA veterans. Each player will be wearing the Adidas TS Commander LT in Black/White/Metallic gold colorway. Adidas has made 200 pairs of these shoes available to the public only through Eastbay. With that being said, they are available now in a full size run on Eastbay’s website.
