Thanks to their official licensing deal with the NBA, adidas will be back with their “NBA Series” this Fall. The ‘85-’86 adidas Centennial hightop is the subject of the line. The New York Knicks version features the Knickerbockers logo on the tongue and an orange suede upper with varsity blue accents. The adidas Centennial NBA Series will be available at select Three Stripes accounts this Fall.

The adidas Conductor in white/orange/varsity blue is an ode to Patrick Ewing’s days with the New York Knicks. Released in the mid-’80s, the Conductor features three prominent midfoot Stripes and a ribbed ankle collar. The adidas “Trefoil” logo is emblazoned on the shoe’s heel. Look for the adidas Conductor “Patrick Ewing/Knicks Colorway” will hit select adidas Lifestyle accounts this Fall.

adidas’ Originals collection with Japanese Kazuki continues into the Fall with new pairs of the adidas Superstar. Christened the Superstar ’80s Whiz, the lowtop Shelltoe features cotton inner lining and a creamy white midsole and toebox. Kazuki’s logo marks up the heel and tongue. The upper is comprised of some obscure cotton/suede material, and will be available this coming August at select accounts worldwide in burgundy and black.

The Adidas Superstar is a staple shoe of the 20th century, so it’s nice to see the classic shoe revamped to  our modern taste. The Adidas Canvas Superstar comes in a navy/red/white colorway, with a canvas upper and leather  shell toe instead of the typical rubber one. The shoe is offset by a white tre-foil and midsole. The shoes come with regular navy laces and these colorful white laces pictured here. On the inner lining, the Adidas logo is printed along with the text “loi fanles” printed over it in red. This shoe is part of Adidas’s Spring 09 releases which means it’ll be out soon.

adidas linked up with independent artist Ronnie Fieg to recreate the Metro Attitude Hi for NYC boutique, David.Z. Entitled the “OVERCAST”, the high top is draped in navy blue/grey/white premium suede and nubuck, that inevitably, mimics an overcast day. The shoe is ushered in with three sets of laces: lime green, grey, and blue/grey fade. The Metro’s insole reads R4D (Ronnie 4 David.Z). The adidas x Ronnie Fieg “OVERCAST” Metro Attitude Hi is limited to 250 pairs and will be releasing online and in-store at David.Z in Soho this Friday, May, 29 at 9:00 for $110.

The adidas ZX 600 is back, just in time for summer. An Originals cornerstone, the nylon mesh runner is now offered in grey/white/powder blue and chocolate brown/black/green. The shoe features Adi’s Torsion support at the midfoot and a rugged outsole to combat the mean streets in the urban jungle. The Vulcanized Boot features a premium leather black upper and perforated branding across the midfoot. The casual shoe’s vulcanized shoe is complimented by a slim white/black toebox. A special logo featuring the Adi trefoil and NBDH’s icon skull and bones blesses the ankle collar.
