In December we were informed that a black/collegiate red colorway of the adidas Top Ten high was hitting FootLocker retailers in December for those looking to ring in the new year ready to play ball. Now it seems as though the next installment in the Top Ten adidas line will get another straightforward colorway- but with a different twist. Pictured here is an adidas Top Ten high in a black/white colorway that has recently hit select adidas retailers. However, upon closer examination of this shoe, you will find what resembles a crocodile-patterned texture reaching from just before the toe box back to the heel of the shoe. The toe box itself is done up in perforated black leather and the toe cap in black nubuck. White accents this shoe by covering the entire sole in it, as well as most of the tongue and ankle area. Does the crocodile-like texture make this a better looking shoe? Does it make it less likely for you to ball in?

Last Wednesday we relayed onto our followers news of an adidas basketball release known as the Top Ten high in an Air Force Blue. Now there are pictures of another colorway of the adidas Top Ten high set to hit select retailers, including Foot Locker stores nationwide, in December. This pair comes in a predominantly black upper, which also sports patent leather and red accents in the form of the shoe laces, adidas stripes, and outsole. It seems as though the adidas brand takes care of at least Dwight Howard’s Orlando Magic and Derrick Rose’s Chicago Bulls with every basketball release, so which of the two adidas Top Ten high colorways would you say came out on top this time? As we mentioned before, look out for this release in participating adidas retailers at some point in December.

Last seen sporting stripes for Adidas’ 60 Years of Soles and Stripes model, the adidas Top Ten Hi is back in an exciting ‘air force blue’ colorway. Featuring a predominantly blue leather upper, the model is complimented by perforated patent leather around the collar, eyelets, and toe cap. With white accenting on the Stripes and collar trimming, the two-tone model keeps things simple with an all blue outsole. The model is expected to hit select Adidas retailers soon, so keep your eyes peeled if you’re looking to add some blue to your closet.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a shoe dedicated to Adidas’ 60 Years of Soles and Stripes. That’s not an issue now, as Adidas released the Adidas Top Ten Hi in a 60 Years edition. The Top Ten Hi features an allover stripe pattern, from the laces to the midsole. Following a white base with grey, blue, and red stripes, the shoe sports the “60 Years” logo on the tongue in gold. The vibrant upper is contrasted by a blue outsole, making this a celebratory shoe that stands out. These are available now for about $165 on Schuh-You.

As we know from the special white model that released this past summer, the adidas Top Ten Hi is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the latest addition to the model’s long history releasing this week. Featuring a classic black, white, red and blue color scheme, the model utilizes a mixed-upper and glossy Stripes to provide the perfect amount of material contrast.
