With luxurious premium leather and a suede toe cap, the adidas Kegler Super Leather offers up an alternating blue/red/blue Stripes pattern and a peg-leg absorbtion system embedded in the heel. The adidas Originals product is accented by the phrase “Kegler Super” reading top-to-bottom left of the midfoot branding. The adidas Kegler Super Leather will hit shelves in January of 2009. Pictured above is one of the sneakers releasing as apart of the Kazuki Kuraishi collection for adidas Originals. Included is a vast array of styles created for the Originals line which is designed by the Tokyo based designer. A full detailed view of the collection can be found after the jump revealing the adidas ZXZ and Boot models. You can also expect to find more traditional looking models available in black, white and blue. The Kazuki Kuraishi collection will release in February 2009 at End Clothing.

In an effort to diversify its consumer base, adidas reinvented several of their “Originals” models in a skate-friendly format. Stan Smiths, Superstars and Rod Lavers began hitting shelves with densely padded tongues and sticky outsoles. The brand has also reached out to numerous pro skaters for endorsement and product placement deals, including incredibly talented skater Mark Gonzales. The aforementioned Gonzales recently reworked the Polson ST, applying a ghost-like (I’m not quite sure what the unique design is–we’ll update here when we get better images!) pattern to the lowtop’s middle panel and suede accent to the product’s toebox and collar. A t-shirt featuring the same poltergeist motif will accompany the ST. The Mark Gonzales x adidas Polson ST will be available at the adidas Originals store in Spring 2009. Via Hypequest.

Long before St. Louie’s Nelly and his “Derrty” cohorts coined, “Stompin’ in my Air Force 1’s,” NYC-based triumvirate Run DMC proclaimed, “My ADIDAS!” The group’s campaign was harmonized around the adidas Superstar skyrocketing the shelltoed shoe to, err, superstardom in the sales department. (Alliteration much?) Decades later, Adi is reissuing the shoe in a materials-similar format, much like they did with the Originals “Vintage” campaign a year back. This time around, the casual will be available in white/black and black/green/white and is scheduled for a December 13 drop at atmos.

Showcasing an enlarged tongue logo, the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS Logo high-top is among several models that will be a result of the 2009 collaboration. Other notables include an original inspired black and white colorway with “Jeremy” lace-locks.
