Despite the use of a less often seen colorway and crocodile skin, the Air Jordan II “Brown Croc” was not received too well by our readers. However, because it’s still chilly out and colorful sneakers seem out of place in this weather, the brown and black themes remain a favorite around this time of the year. So perhaps the adidas Conductor high pictured here will better meet some sneakerheads’ desires. It comes in a predominantly brown/black colorway with both suede and leather used on the upper. Finished off with a white sole, this could just be the pair of brown sneakers missing from your collection. You can purchase these now from select overseas retailers or wait and hope for a stateside release.

The adidas Conductor in white/orange/varsity blue is an ode to Patrick Ewing’s days with the New York Knicks. Released in the mid-’80s, the Conductor features three prominent midfoot Stripes and a ribbed ankle collar. The adidas “Trefoil” logo is emblazoned on the shoe’s heel. Look for the adidas Conductor “Patrick Ewing/Knicks Colorway” will hit select adidas Lifestyle accounts this Fall.
