It’s all about color over at adidas Originals and their new commercial with Champs Sports featuring B.O.B. proves just that as we get a glimpse of the rapper remixing his song “Epic” by showcasing his most colorful moments in adiColor gear. The new commercial and lineup continues the brand’s quest to provide the customer gear in a variety of options that will turn heads!

Included in the collection is matching apparel and the new adiColor ‘Piping’ Pack, an array of low and high-top adidas sneakers including the adidas Originals Hard Court Hi and adidas Originals Superstar 2 in various colors.

The new Adidas collection is called Hard Court Hi and takes its inspiration from a vintage collection adidas launched in 1985 called vintage Decade Hi. Paying homage to the original basketball inspiration, they are rolling out 6 new high-top styles.

In ’85, the vintage Decade Hi featured adidas’ classic patented crisscross one-piece ankle-bracing system which provided great external and internal ankle support; today new silhouette is vulcanized with clean, crisp lines.

Playing on its heritage and on-court and off-court appeal, the adicolor collection will launch exclusively with Champs and will retail for $75.

The adidas Originals adicolor collection is popping into Champs stores nationwide just in time for the holidays with three new exclusive on-trend colorways: Rasta, Cardinal and Iron. Each color theme is translated into Originals classic sneaker and apparel styles including Superstar 2, Stan Smith, Hillsdale, ZX 500, Sambas and the Firebird Tracksuits. adicolor provides the perfect holiday options for that special someone or yourself. Rasta draws its inspiration from adidas fan Bob Marley, who often wore the brand, while Cardinal concentrates on the warm 1980s-inspired varsity color and Iron, which is the new season’s staple color and is found in fashion at all levels.

Originally released in 1983, the adidas adicolor offered a sneaker that would combine art and sneakers with the waterproof quick-drying markers that were packaged along with the sneakers. The adicolor’s personalization hasn’t be the idea of the century, but the adicolor still is going strong after 25 years. As the series continues, we get a look at an original adicolor paired alongside a more modern version which is dress in a denim upper contributed by Kaihara for the collaboration, a matching jacket will also be released.
