Air Jordan 7 (VII) - Black / Charcoal - Team Red 60+ Pack Bulls vs. Magic

Earlier today, we showcased the Air Jordan 60+ Black / White – Red, and now we have a look at another sneaker commemorating one of Michael Jordan’s performances in which he scored sixty or more points. As most can easily tell, this pair is heavily inspired by the “Raptors” Air Jordan VII (7), and features a black base with charcoal and team red accents. Back in ‘93, the Chicago Bulls squared off against the Orlando Magic, and MJ ended up with 64 points. Thus, along with this AJ7, Jordan Brand is set to release an Orlando Magic inspired Air Jordan 7 which was previewed months ago. The Air Jordan 7 (VII) – Black/Charcoal-Team Red is scheduled to be available for purchase on August 22, 2009.

Sample Air Jordan VII (7) Low - White / Citrus

Jordan Brand has essentially released a low-top version of every single Air Jordan numbered sneaker up to now with the exception of a few including the Air Jordan VII (7). We are now seeing evidence that Jordan Brand did come up with the design of a low top AJ7, but then scrapped the idea. Shown above, an unreleased sample Air Jordan 7 Low features an upper extremely reminiscent of the mid cut AJ7. Yielding a white leather base with citrus accents and a clear sole, this pair is definitely a ‘love it or hate it’ type of sneaker. As previously mentioned, this pair is an unreleased sample and will most likely never be released. Via Kenlu.

Air Jordan Retro VII (7) - Sixty Plus Pack

The Air Jordan VII (7) is definitely one of the most popular Air Jordan models upto date and the 2 colorways shown above will surely remind you of ones that have previously released. We are now seeing pictures that suggest the AJ7 will be receiving the “pack” treatment in 2009 that has become famous because of the Air Jordan Countdown Packs which released throughout the last year. In the upcoming months, Jordan Brand will be releasing “Sixty Plus” Packs commemorating the numerous times Michael Jordan scored 60 or more points in a single game. This pack is made up of two pairs of Air Jordan 7s.  One pair is inspired by the “Raptor” Air Jordan 7 (VII) while the  the other pair takes inspiration from the Orlando Magic, the team MJ scored 64 points against in 1993. You can expect for this pack to release in August of 2009, but be sure to stay tuned for updates and new pictures. Via NT.
