If you haven’t noticed, Adidas have really been doing big things to start of 2010 with a bang. Lately, they have been fusing their sneakers with modern style. The latest product is the Adidas Desert Boot, which comes in three fashionable colorways. All three boots use full suede uppers in their respective colorways, except for the blue pair, which chooses to have a nylon tongue. The classic adidas 3-stripes is given a modern makeover, as it is perforated on these shoes. These chukka-styled boots are definitely bold, so let us know if they’re a success this year.

2010 is in for a carnivorous treat, as Nike is setting in motion the re-release of the classic Nike Air Carnivore. The Nike Air Carnivore Retro comes in a gaudy throwback colorway that really speaks old school Nike. The hightop shoe compiles nubuck, mesh, and neoprene with black, green, and purple colors. The black/white midsole really makes this pair of retros stand out. Be sure to get your own pair of Carnivores come Summer 2010 at your local Nike retailer.

We’ve been previewing Nike‘s 2010 roster for quite some time now, but with the new year less than a month away, it’s about time that we had a look at some sample. Although these images aren’t of the best quality, we can still get a feel for how some of the models will look. Of the sneakers shown, the most anticipated is probably the Retro Air Pippen model, but the Air Max 95, Air Max 97, Griffey Max GD II, and Air Penny III are certainly worth mentioning. Brace yourselves, 2010 is going to be a good year.

After the success of the Opium x Nike Air Max 180 Quickstrikes, Opium is at it again with Nike to make another classic runner a popular shoe. The Opium x Nike Air Max ST comes in a white/grey/orange/purple colorway, which will definitely be a crowdpleaser in Phoenix, Arizona. The shoe features a white suede and mesh upper, with a grey nubuck mudguard. These soft tones are highly contrasted by the bright orange swoosh and purple mesh inner lining. A white midsole is used, encasing the Air Max unit in black, making this a clean shoe yet again. The Nike Air Max ST logo is sported in bright orange at the tongue to finish off this classic shoe. Let’s see how this release turns out compared to the 180s when it releases next year.

The buzz surrounding Jordan Brand‘s 2010 catalogue won’t be dying down anytime soon, as images of the upcoming models are beginning to hit the net. In this preview, we take a first look at a retro White/Varsity Red colorway of the Air Jordan VI. Inspired by the OG Infrared AJVI, the colorway takes on a similar layout, featuring a Varsity Red midsole and Black upper tongue. Expected to drop for $150 sometime next year, stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

After a year largely spent retrieving classic models from their archive, Reebok seems to be taking 2010 as an opportunity to take things in a different direction, with images of a brand new trainer hitting the web today. Featuring an urban color pallet of Dark Grey, Comet, Seagull, and Graphite, the model features an ankle stabilizing heel brace, perforated upper, and killer cross pattern outsole.
