Many Nike Air Penny II (2) colorways have released over the past few months and the newest one to come out is this colorway inspired by the Miami Heat. As many may remember, Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway played with the Miami Heat in his final season in the NBA and this colorway obviously takes inspiration from the Heat’s black and red color combo. Featuring a black base with red and white accents, this pair yields a nice and clean colorway. The Nike Air Penny II (2) retains its original shape and lace size to give it that classic feel. The Nike Air Force II (2) High Premium – Gucci started hitting retailers a while ago, but if you weren’t lucky enough to grab a pair, this article will bring some good news for you. The Gucci inspired Air Force 2 seen above has hit Nike.com and is currently available for $102. Featuring a predominately black leather upper, the supposedly Gucci inspired accents are rare and a bit hard to see at first. At closer look, one can pick up the green and red accents on the side, the tongue, and the rear. Combine multiple sneakers to form one new sneaker. Sounds pretty simple, right? Well, we are now seeing evidence that Jordan Brand not only finds it simple, but effective as well. The concept of merging sneakers will continue throughout 2009 and we now have pictures of the newest hybrid. This pair merges together all of the sneakers that Michael Jordan wore on the five occasions that he scored 60 or more points. The Air Jordan 2 (II) and the Air Jordan 5 (V) play key parts in the Air Jordan 60+ and their influence on this pair is quite obvious. The most prevalent characteristic on this pair that we have seen before is the midsole which comes straight from the AJ5. Other key components include a mesh net on the side and a heel tab reminescent of the AJ2. Though it is not confirmed, the Air Jordan 60+ is set to begin releasing in August of 2009. Via NT.

We gave you a one picture preview of Jordan Brand‘s recent collaboration with Eminem a couple months ago and we now have detailed pictures and information on this pair of the Air Jordan 2 (II). Eminem and Jordan Brand have teamed up before in the past to create the Air Jordan 4 (IV) Encore which was given to the friends and family of Eminem himself. Fortunately, the Air Jordan 2 yielded through this collaboration will be a little easier to obtain. 313 pairs of this sneaker will be released on Jordan Brand’s official website—Air Jordan Flight Club. The number of pairs released, 313, is a reference to the area code of Detroit where Marshall Mathers aka Eminem grew up. Also, a black Air Jordan x Eminem t-shirt with the words, “The Way I Am” will be made available alongside the sneakers.

This Air Jordan 2 features handwritten lyrics from Eminem songs on a mostly black upper with a gray toebox and red/white accents. Proceeds from this release will go to the Marshall Mathers Foundation, which helps disadvantaged children in the Michigan area. These are scheduled to release on December 18, 2008 on Air Jordan Flight Club for the low retail price of $110. Via NT.
