The violence must stop; they’re only sneakers!

As reports have stated, 3 stabbings took place over the weekend outside the Laurel Mall near Hazleton, Pennsylvania for the release of the Air Jordan 7 “Olympic”.

Does this come as a surprise to you? What responsibility does Nike or Jordan Brand hold in this matter? Should more sneakers be produced? How can we as a sneaker community put a stop to the ongoing acts of violence that take place during big releases?

  1. Make more and these problems will disappear. These limited releases are jokes. Most of them aren’t collecters, they’re sellers trying to make money off them and this is what causes these retards to act this way. Nike and Jordan know this and look the otherway because it’s all about making money and the demands. This has to stop or things are gonna get out of control.

  2. i hate twitter but that is one the solutions. deffinitly make more and start giving out wrist bands before they release. last week i did a line at supreme and they did something i’ve never seen before. they had security on the line and at the door making sure no body skipped or came back for a second pair.

  3. I think that eBay should try and change some of their rules also. That might help a little bit. Thats the first place resellers go. Nike/Jordan should at least make it 1 pair per person on all Jordan releases. And make more sneakers!!

  4. This is already out of control…thugs like these are giving the sneaker community a bad rap. Nike is not to blame and neither is Jordan Brand for not making enough sneakers to satisfy everybody. Even if they made twice as more to sell that is only gonna mean that twice as many more people are gonna be left out in the cold on release day. The supply cannot meet up w/ the demand for some of these releases. This “Treasure Troll” thug and others like him are to blame for the violence.

  5. stop buying jordans….thats about the only option, and before anyone starts yelling, I been collecting since 90.,just saying it will suck but can be done.
