Towards the beginning of last week, we brought you a good look at the Nike Air Griffey Max II GD in a black/red colorway. Now, we’d like to follow-up this bit of news with some more good news. This previously released colorway of the Nike Air Griffey Max II GD will be hitting select Nike retailers including FootLocker locations nationwide come Saturday, April 3. With a tumbled leather upper, this shoe comes equipped with slight varsity red accents by way of the patented Nike swoosh and even in the visible Air Max bubble unit. You can expect retail on adult sizes to set you back approximately $140. Despite all the future colorways, is the brand kicking off the return of the Nike Air Griffey Max II GD with this one, perhaps in similar fashion to what many believe Jordan Brand did with the black/varsity red Air Jordan VI earlier this year?
