Earlier today, we brought you images of the upcoming Rick Owens x adidas collaboration, set to release this December, as well as the upcoming Jeremy Scott x adidas Rose 3.5. Now, we bring you a look at another high fashion designer’s collaboration with the Three Stripes brand, the Raf Simons x adidas Ozweego 1.
The shoes, Raf Simons’ take on a 90’s runner more popular with the 40-year old suburban dad than his hip teenager, are definitely unlike anything we’ve ever seen before, featuring a unique mix of dark and bright shades of color. To Simons’ credit, he has taken an utterly average and boring pair of kicks and made them fresh and new, something that isn’t easily done. Available tomorrow, July 1st, at select adidas retailers like Concepts, these bad boys won’t come cheap, at $390 a pop, so hopefully you’ve got some money set aside (if you actually like these shoes, that is…a big “if”).
