The Nike Air Tech Challenge IV (4) is a very popular sneaker. It first released in 1991 and was tennis star Andre Agassi’s signature sneaker. Its solid colored upper is offset with an airbrushed midsole and tie die panels. It was very unusual for a tennis shoe, but still very clean.

A visible air unit can be seen in the heel. Instead of the usual Nike Swoosh, the Nike Air Tech Challenge IV featured “NIKE” lettering on the side. The same airbrush pattern used for the shoes appears on the Nike Andre Agassi clothing line. In 2000, once color way of the Nike Air Tech Challenge IV was reissued, with mid- and low-top versions as well.
