Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Lamar Odom PE

Although the future of Lamar Odom and the Los Angeles Lakers is up in the air now, the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 could possibly be the last PE made in LA Lakers colors for the forward. The Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Lamar Odom PE has a dominate yellow upper, purple on the side-panels, liner, midsole and the LO branding on the tongue. Not in stone, but Lamar Odom’s Hyperfuse 2011 is expected to release at House of Hoops this Summer.

  1. Sorry to be a jerk, but this has bothered me too long because it's wrong on almost every post with a shoe description. A shoe cannot have a "dominate yellow upper," because that doesn't make any sense.

"dominate" is a verb, an action word. It works like this: "I will dominate this game."
"dominant" is an adjective, a descriptive word. It works like this: "They won the game in dominant fashion."
Both of them typically refer to winning something by a large margin, or occupying the vast majority of something.

Therefore, when describing a shoe, if it's mostly yellow, you could say "The upper is dominated by yellow…" or you could say "Yellow dominates the upper…"

  2. 3 words are better than 6. There are reasons these things happen. Most of us have to deal with females that turn 30- second conversations into 5- minute conversations. We have to adjust to this unfortunate waste of time.

  3. Fine Scuds, you can continue pretending that "win yellow upper" makes sense. To dominate is to win.
