With word now out that Nike and French label Pigalle will team up on exclusive collaboration, today finally welcomes an official unveiling of the “PPP” Collection.

As we first guessed it, this footwear collection will in-fact feature the Nike Air Force 1, however, we now know that it will arrive in both a high and low top form. With intricate details that come in the form of waxed leather uppers, leather laces, translucent outsoles, signature Pigalle hangtags, and much more, this collection ultimately takes inspiration from basketball lifestyle and PPP’s Stéphane Ashpool – a former professional basketball player. Adding in a tank top and shorts ensemble, each piece features embroidery, distinct color-blocking, and other added effects for an authentic throwback look and feel.

So, what’s Stéphane Ashpool’s take on the classic silhouette?

“I like the fact the AF1 was released the year I was born —1982.  I love the little details like that. I wanted to take the shoe and bring it to life. When you put the shoe on you see the story, so I wanted to relate the patina, the way of dyeing and the texture together so it has the feeling of life.”

With a rollout date of April 26th, check out more detailed imagery below and keep it locked right here at Sneaker Files for more detailed information.
