To kick off 2012, Nike SBÂ has signed Kansas City native and 2011 Street League champ Sean Malto.
Long considered to be one of the best up-and-coming skaters around, Malto has been crowned Rookie of the Year by Transworld and won the Reader’s Choice Award for “Best Pro” the following year.
As Malto said: “I’ve always been a fan of Eric Koston and Paul Rodriguez. Â Being on the same team as them is truly amazing. Â Plus, Nike has always been the leading brand in sports, with the most incredible athletes past and present – including my favorites Michael Jordan and Kevin Durant. Â it’s just an honor to be associated with a company like Nike. Â I feel we can do some awesome things in and for skateboarding!”
