For this year’s Christmas release, Nike SB tapped artist Sean Cliver for an unusual take on the holiday traditions that typically influence most Christmas designs.
Inspired by the legend of Krampus – the demonic, goat-like creature that warned and punished misbehaved Children (in contrast to Saint Nicholas) – this Nike SB Dunk High features a black and red upper of cracked leather and horsehair with an icy outsole. Also rocking faux fur lining with waxed cotton laces and a speckled midsole, the kicks see Krampus and Santa Claus graphics on the tongue branding tabs and custom insoles.
