Nike’s innovative efforts continue as we’re treated to our first look at the all-new Nike LunarElite Sky Hi. A women’s model, this high-top sneaker is an extension of several popular running sneakers.
Drawing from Nike’s deep heritage in running, the LunarElite Sky Hi re-imagines a classic running model by melding it with Nike’s latest cushioning innovation to create the lightest wedged Nike sneaker to date.
A one-piece upper gives a sleek aesthetic to the famous BRS Elite silhouette. Large perforations and a ventilated neoprene bootie complete the upper and provide breathable, sock-less comfort. Ascending from Nike’s classic waffle outsole, a first of its kind exaggerated midsole redefines the look of Lunarlon cushioning. The LunarElite Sky Hi reinterprets innovation born for performance running to suit everyday situations. It’s the first Nike sneaker with an external wedge and is lighter than all Nike wedges that came before it.
The LunarElite Sky Hi will be available at select Nike Sportswear retailers on Dec. 13.
