As the world patiently awaits highly anticipated Nike Kobe VIII (8) colorways like this year’s “What The Kobe” offering, Nike Basketball has been busy cooking up other renditions of the popular signature model.

While recent weeks have brought us first looks at the unofficial “Green Glow/Yellow” and “Summit White/Teal-Yellow-Purple” mock-ups, a new Lakers “Home” edition Nike Kobe VIII (8) has just emerged. What would fit perfectly into Kobe Bryant’s sneaker rotation upon his return, these kicks feature a white Engineered Mesh upper along with the addition of yellow and purple accents. Complete with black Swoosh branding and a speckled midsole, this unreleased colorway displays some sort of pink hue to its tongue – an unusual finish if we may add.
