The Nike KD 9 ’Texas’ will be the first shoe from the KD line inspired by the University of Texas to officially release at retail stores.
Debuting on the University of Texas men’s basketball team this Saturday, the KD9 Texas shoe pays homage to Kevin Durant’s beloved alma mater.
“Attending UT was one of the best experiences of my life and launching the KD9 back in Austin this past June reflects my love for the college experience I had 10 years ago,” says Durant.
Dressed in a Texas theme, this Nike KD 9 is highlighted with Sail across the Flyknit uppers. Following we have Burnt Orange accents which furthers the theme. Other highlights include his number 35 stitched on the tongue and Texas on the heel.
Nike KD 9 Texas Release Date
The ’Texas’ Nike KD 9 is scheduled to release at select Nike Basketball retailers on March 10th, 2017. Retail price is set at $150.
