Nike Hyperize - "Kryptonate"

As most sneakerheads can remember, Nate Robinson pulled out one of the most interesting colorways of the Nike Foamposite Lite ever witnessed last year, but this year, the reigning champ decided to rock a much simpler, Knicks-inspired version of the Nike Air Max Hyperize (seen after the jump). Though Robinson did not wear these sneakers, we have our first look at a Nike Hyperize that hosts the same “Kryptonate” colorway as last year’s model. This pair features a bright green upper with black accents and Nate’s “NR” logo on the tongue. Which pair do you prefer? Did Nate Robinson make the right choice to go with the simple and matching sneakers or should he have worn the much brighter “Kryptonate” Nike Hyperize?

  1. They actually are just a custom PE version of the Hyperize with an Air Max unit in the midsole. Also, Nate has won his 3rd undeserved Slam Dunk Contest. He has made it no fun to watch every time he has participated.

  2. Hyperize with a max air unit is a different shoe, I may have been wrong in calling them Hypermaxes now that I think about it, but they are called Hyperize max or something to that effect. They are a seperate shoe that is coming out.

  3. @ME: I agree completely. This dunk contest was hot garbage and the fact that lebron pussied out made it even worse. There was no competition at all this year. No creativity from anybody that participated.

  4. @boo hoo: Did you even watch the dunk contest? Theres pictures right there. Do you know what the lebrons look like? Or what the hyperizes look like?

  5. id rather see the old and1 mixtape guys throw it down all star weekend olo Mr. 720 and others would be dope
