The Nike Air Pegasus has had quite a resurgence in 2013; from classic models like the ’83, ’89, and ’92 being retroed, to a new take on the classic Nike running shoe, the House of Swoosh has most definitely shown the Air Pegasus line some love this year. Today, we bring you another take on the ’83 model, the Nike Air Pegasus 83/30 “Team Red”, a fresh take on the classic runner, which is enjoying its 30th birthday this year.
Featuring a dark red synthetic and mesh upper, the shoe is accented by a bright atomic red stripe that slants down the middle of the upper, travelling from the lacelets to the outsole. A white heel tab, Swoosh, and midsole add to the classic look, while the bright red helps update the sneaker, giving it a more current feel.
