On Monday we brought you news of another Nike hybrid. This one brings together the Nike Air More Uptempo and Nike Air Pippen II (as evidenced by Nike’s diagram on the tongue); it has been named the Nike Air Max A Lot. The first colorway we spotted this new silhouette in was Rasta-themed and did not seem to entice too many of our readers. However, we’d like to now show you a black/varsity red-white pair that might just change your mind. The upper is completely black, including the “AIR” lettering, with a patent leather toe cap. The mudguard comes in red that stretches a little into the otherwise white sole. Lastly, on the heel of the shoe you’ll see that “nike” is spelled out, reaching down to just above where the midsole begins. We all expected this colorway to drop because of how famous it is and how fitting it would be since Scottie Pippen played for the Chicago Bulls. However, what are your thoughts on the execution of the black/varsity red-white? Is it enough to make you think slightly more highly about this colorway as opposed to the Rasta one?

  1. These aren't as bad as the other colorway previewed the other day, but these are still bad none the less.

  2. not as bad as rasta colorway but you cant change the shape of the shoe and that is just ugly as fuck

  3. @ Sarcastic last time the real Pippens release, they hit the clearance rack reall fast…and didn't they release em recently like 08' or 09'?

  4. don't matter when the retros dropped these are a waste of natural resources instead they could use material more efficiently and retro the holly grails again
