Unless you sneakerheads lived under a rock this year, you inevitably came across one of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1‘s that produced quite a stir and answered many of your prayers. I, myself, don’t mind waiting another summer to have mine answered. In the summer of 2010 Nike will retro the Nike Air Griffey Max GD II i fell in love with when it first came out nearly ten years ago. I still rock my White-Black/Red pair- rocking them last on July 4th as we celebrated the US’s independence day. Slated to release next summer are two colorways: one with a predominantly black base that also sports red accents and one with a predominantly white base that sports subtle black and grey accents.
