First Look : ‘McFly’ Nike Hypermax

The Nike “McFly” Hypermax hearkens forward to Michael J. Fox’s Nike Air Mag he wore in “Back II The Future 2” in a futuristic 2015 urban environment. The Hyper’s jetstream grey/pale blue/hot pink color scheme matches the Mag’s schema and features several hints from the electronic shoe, including the striped ankle strap and vibrant sockliner. The Hypermax is among Nike’s premier basketball products for 2009, but this special make-up features a nylon upper as opposed to one covered in Flywire strands. Cushioining is provided via Lunar Foam and an Air Max unit. Look for the Nike “McFly” Hypermax in limited numbers at select House of Hoops locations later this year.

  1. Nike is surveying consumers to see if they are to release the Mag how they would do. The field test is all these make ups that resemble the one shoe we all all hopeing Nike will release. Keep all this hype up and we just may actually get the covited Nike Air Mag!!!

  2. Im so tired of this HOH bs. I live in NY but there is no way im going to wait in line for hours outside a store in Harlem. Nike shows no respect for there majority of Fans who don't live by 1 of the 3 store located in the entire country. Fu*k nike they might as well pass out flyers saying they support re-sellers or they would have all there products be a general or atleast a QS, cause like 80% of the people who buy the HOH release don't keep them.

  3. i was looking forward to copping these. now that i know i don't have a chance i'll move on. DAMN NIKE WTF!

  4. I hope they come out in hoh chicago cuz I live down the street, and Jp I'm 1 of the 20% who keeps the hoh releases

  5. I'm with ya JP. I'm here in San Antonio and lord knows they dont get any exclusives out here. Nike could at least put them up on niketown.com to give the true sneakerheads a chance.

  6. This is the kind of release that makes me appreciate living 15min from a HOH. I will keep 2 of these

  7. I don't live near a HoH, I live in Las Vegas…$*%& you nike I wanted a pair of these.

  8. so much for getting a pair of hypermaxes. i was definitely going to cop a pair of these and the tennis ball versions, but all this hoh bs is really starting to push me away from nike. never going to learn a damn lesson are they?

  9. I just got a sample pair and theyre amazingggggg. From what I herd they will be more available than the past McFly releases
