The wait is finally over. Fila’s record breaking ‘95’ shoe returns September 19th as part of the Re-Introduced pack, joining a classic CAGE silhouette. Offered in the original 95 on-court color way of blue/white and an additional classic black on black, the chatter across the blogs and on social positions the Re-Introduced pack to set records and be the highlight of FILA’s 2013 release schedule.
The ‘95’, formally known as the Grant Hill 1, stays true to the original design specs for the retro-release. Its most distinctive feature, the twelve lace ghillies circling the collar of the shoe, are complimented by the perforation on the toe box and the vamp trim running around the basketball silhouette. The Heritage trapezoidal FILA logo is stitched laterally on the outer-side of the midsole, with the F-box brand logo appearing mid-lace.
Highly regarded by sneaker aficionados as one of the top sneakers ever created, the ‘95’ is an instant cop for those who have been patiently waiting. It is available beginning midnight 09.19.2013 on fila.com, as well as at other premium FILA 19Eleven retailers.
