The latest from Converse is a new pack featuring CLOT and Andy Warhol that will celebrate the ‘Year of the Monkey’.
The new collection celebrates the spirit of encouraging creativity and supporting contemporary culture that is synonymous with the Converse and CLOT brands, by applying Warhol’s signature pop-art elements to the iconic Converse Chuck Taylor All Star silhouette and some seasonally relevant apparel and accessories.
The Converse x Andy Warhol x CLOT Year of the Monkey sneaker collection features black and white canvas versions of the classic Chuck Taylor All Star Hi and Ox silhouettes, each rendered with a unique take on Warhol’s iconic banana artwork. The collection features premium detailing, such as tonal ankle patches, laces and tongue labels, with contrasting license plates and outsoles completing a bold look with pink and yellow color pops. The collection also features a selection of complimentary T-shirts and a bucket hat, utilizing the same graphic elements.
The Converse x Andy Warhol x CLOT Year of the Monkey Pack will be available for purchase starting January 18, 2016 at JUICE SH/BJ/HK/TW and on Converse.com.cn on January 21st.
