Wale and Kevin Durant’s relationship dates back much further than the sneakers. In fact, the two are from the same hometown of Washington, D.C. and both love music, hence, you may remember Kevin Durant’s interlude appearance on Wale’s More About Nothing mixtape from 2010. This probably explains why Wale gets all of KD’s newest kicks.
Today we are granted a preview of the new Nike Zoom KD 5 “DMV”, a new signature shoe that pays homage to Kevin Durant’s hometown. It’s his 5th shoe from Nike and things are already kicking up into high gear with more colorways on the way.
