For those that don’t keep up with the Drew League, it is a basketball league made up of current NBA players and other notable names such as rappers, former players and even high school and college athletes and it all takes place in Los Angeles, California. A Drew League favorite, and former D-league star for the Los Angeles Lakers Horace Wormley, AKA “The Gingerbread Man” brought some serious, unreleased heat to the Drew League Championship Game recently. “The Gingerbread Man” threw on his Kobe 8 “Pit Vipers” for his championship performance in which his team won it all. These Kobe 8’s are set to release tomorrow (10/5) however we are pleased that Wormley let us see how they look in game prior to everyone rushing to their mall tomorrow morning.
