Renown artist/illustrator Robert Crumb just recently was tied to the Vans Collection thanks to his work on a pair of Sk8 Hi’s and Slip On’s. But there was nothing to indicate that his influence on the Vans brand would end there- in fact, we now have reason to believe the opposite. Robert Crumb put his style to work once again, this time using the timeless “Authentic” Vans silhouette and keeping the all-white sole while mixing in a sky blue one piece upper that consists of his “keep on trucking” illustrations. This shoe might be popping up at your very own local Vans Vault accounts, if it hasn’t already.

Last month we saw a small preview of the Supreme x Vans Half Cab in a checkered design. Well, that was only a small installment of the collaboration between Supreme and Vans for the Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. The Supreme x Vans F/W 2009 Collection consists of three different colorways for the Vans Old Skool and Vans Half Cab. Both shoes use checkered print suede and canvas uppers and white midsoles, but in three different colorways: black, red, and yellow. The Old Skool features the Vans stripe in white leather, and comes with striped laces to offset the checkered pattern. Red is placed on the inner lining to contrast the leather insoles, completing the look that will surely be on everyone’s feet this holiday season. The collection is set to release online and in-store October 8th in the U.S., with a Japan release 2 days later.

Vans is known to experiment with collaborations, as it did with Hellz Bellz. But now we bring you information regarding a Vans collabo with Robert Crumb- a well known American illustrator. The results include a pair of Sk8 Hi’s with a white base & black drawings, as well as a pair of colorful Slip On’s that come with feline drawings. We already told you that the Vans Chukka will be getting special fleece treatment to help keep you warm during the holiday season. We now have a couple of more classic models to show you that’ll also be a part of Vans’ Fall 2009 collection. Highlighted by the grey suede Era pictured here, the release will also include wool grey, blue, and yellow Authentic’s, as well as a blue and a red 106. Which one of these is atop your list? What could possibly be better than the suede Chukkas we saw earlier today? Suede Chukkas with fleece thats what. The Vans Chukka comes in a fleece pack consisting of two suede colorways: dark brown and tan. Both Chukkas use suede uppers and matching contrast midsoles. The fleece is white and used in the inner lining of the shoe to get us ready for the upcoming cold fall and winter months. These are great for keeping your feet warm while making them look stylish as well. The fleece Chukkas will release soon at select Vans retailers for the Fall 2009 holiday season.

It’s that time of the year again! No, not Fall, but the time when Vans starts releasing its Holiday 2009 collection. First up, we have the Vans Chukka Suede in two clean colorways: navy and grey. Both shoes use full suede uppers in their respective colors, along with vulcanized midsoles. The navy pair uses a white midsole to contrast the dark upper, whereas the other pair rocks a darker grey midsole, given its lightly toned upper. These two Chukkas are available now, so go ahead and get ‘em now!

It’s nice to see that Vans is still going strong with its less-hyped releases, such as this Perforated Pack. The Vans Perforated Pack consists of one Vans Era and one Vans Half Cab in similar colorways. Both use black suede on the front of the upper, and contrasts it with green perforated panels at the heel. This isn’t your ordinary perforated design, though. The pattern features perforated squares and circles to change it up a bit. Finally, both shoes are completed with a clean white midsole with a black stripe through it, and a gumsole as well.
