This is the upcoming third installment of the ongoing Syndicate collaboration with WTAPS by Vans. As you can see here, the Rudeez was most definitely lives up to its hype. The shoe also features an elongated rubber toecap covered with brogue-like details, in other words it might remind you of more formal footwear. Vans has always been known to look to musicians for inspiration and designs, this time around they look to vocalist Niagara. Entitled the “Niagara Girl”, a portrait of a girl drinking and smoking is printed in a comic styled design, while red and yellow stripes run from the toe to the heel. Vans and plaid almost go hand and hand, which is the reason for their Summer ‘08 Plaid Pack. The pack consists of Chukkas, Eras and Slip-Ons available in a navy/red and navy/green plaid patterns along with a white sole.
