California skate brand Vans continues to expand their Vault collection with the Sk8 Hi Standard Issue LX Pack. The vulcanized hightop features a reinforced heel collar and thick stripe on the side panels. Premium leather and suede make up the Sk8’s upper. The pack is available now in black/black/white, grey/black/white and grey/teal/pink/black/white at select Vans Vault accounts.

Yesterday, we showcased the Slip-On and Era Vans Fall 2009 Off the Wall Pack, and we now have our first look at the Old Skool and Mid Skool from the same pack. Both models are featured in three classic colorways. The Old Skool comes in a green/yellow-white color scheme, a light blue/blue-white pair, and a yellow/black style. The Mid Skool will release in a brown/white, light blue/white, and green/white colorway. The Vans Fall 2009 Off the Wall Pack will be available for purchase at Vans retailers later this year.

Jason Jessee, an American skateboarder and custom chopper builder, recently teamed up with Vans to produce two new colorways of one of Vans’ top selling high-top sneakers. The Sk8 High is the silhouette of choice for this pack, and it is featured in a brown and black color scheme. Both styles host premium leather uppers accented by cream mid-soles and an orange mid-sole stripes. Another key feature of both pairs is the inner linings which come with OutLast, a temperature regulating material that maintains a comfortable temperature for your feet. The Jason Jessee x Vans Syndicate Sk8 Highs are expected to release in the coming weeks.

The Vans “Off the Wall” Fall 2009 Collection features new versions of the Vans Era and Vans Slip-On. Classic color schemes and materials such as green canvas/yellow suede, sky blue canvas/blue suede and brown canvas/cardinal suede pepper the pack. We previewed the Rick Griffin x Vans Collection back in January, and we now have a detailed look at the Vans Slip On from that pack. Rick Griffin was an American artist in the 1960s and was most known for his psychedelic poster designs. Those poster images have now made their way onto a fresh pair of sneakers. This pair hosts a black base accented by a white mid-sole, graphics on the upper, and a white inner lining. The Rick Griffin x Vans Slip On is now available overseas, and should be available for purchase in the states in the coming weeks.

The Vans 106 is a simple low-top model that is neither extremely popular nor hugely unique, but is still nonetheless a solid skate sneaker. For their Winter 2009 collection, Vans is releasing the 106 in two simple tonal colorways. The first style hosts a purple upper with a white mid-sole, white laces, and white inner lining, while the second pair yields a brown upper with similar white accents. Both variations feature corduroy on the sidepanels while suede can be found on the tongue and toebox. Both versions of the “Corduroy” Vans 106 will be available in Winter ‘09.

Vans recently collaborated with Mastodon, an Atlanta-based metal band, to produce two new colorways of the Vans Sk8 High and two colorways of the Vans Slip On. All four sneakers feature some of Mastodon’s past album covers; two sneakers yield uppers that take inspiration from Blood Mountain, while the other two feature images from Crack the Skye. All four sneakers from the Mastodon x Vans Collection are now available for purchase.
