With all of the success Supra has experience with the Skytops they look to develop more of their Sky Low 1.5 sneakers in hope of it doing as well as its high top counterpart. The first of the new Sky Low 1.5s slated to release this Fall features a solid light grey suede upper and a white outersole. Releasing alongside the light grey Sky Low 1.5 is the forest green/snakeskin model.  This model also sports suede, but implements snakeskin. Look for both models to drop later this year.

With the release of Terry Kennedy’s Supra TK Society looming, photos of the upcoming sneakers continue to build up the anticipation. Kennedy stopped by the Supra warehouse recently to re-up on some products including the TK Society in red/white and purple/white. The first of the two TK picked up is the Society composed of a solid red upper and white outersole. Was seen second pair a few weeks back and will be available in similar design, but will sport a purple suede upper. Supra has annouced the TK Society will officially release on May 15th. Supra has been dropping the hottest styles for a while now, but they had mainly gone unnoticed until 2009 began. With the beginning of the new year, Supra started releasing more and more popular colorways in three of their styles: the Supra Skytop, the Supra Suprano, and the Supra Vaider. Now, Supra has decked out their high-top sneaker, the Supra Vaider, in a blue mesh colorway. This pair hosts a blue mesh upper with charcoal and white accents. As a whole, this sneaker yields a clean colorway, and is definitely worth purchasing. The “Mesh Blue” Supra Vaider is now available at Supra retailers including Premier for a retail price of $89.95.

At the mere mention of anything with straps, the Nike Air Yeezy is brought up, but it could have some competition come this Summer where this Supra TK Society will possibly be launched. Skateboarder Terry Kennedy’s signature sneaker, the TK Society is made up of a rose gold foil upper that wraps around the whole upper. The foil shimmers in the light and sports a cracked effect that is nothing link the previous models. As of now, whether or not this pair of Society’s will actually release is up in the air, but the tag on the sneakers indicate it will be in Summertime if Supra goes through with it.

This coming Saturday, April 4, 2009, the second model in Supra’s collaborative 413 series will release internationally. The vulcanized shoe features a chocolate premium leather upper and black laces and is a byproduct of the brand’s partnership with Spin Magazine and Subb’s B-B-Q. The Skytop is limited to a 1000 pairs worldwide, with each 413 outfit receiving 24 pairs each. To celebrate the South by Southwest Music Conference and Festival (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, Spin Magazine and Stubb’s Bar-B-Q join Supra to release a special edition Skytop. The sneakers come packaged in a wooden box numbered to 50. Inside the box is an apron and Stubb’s BBQ sauce. The Supra Skytop x Spin Magazine x Stubb’s Bar-B-Q will be going on sale this Friday exclusively at Stubb’s Bar-B-Q. Only 50 of these special packages will be sold, so get there early. As for an international release, a regular edition of this Skytop will be sold in the coming weeks.

Once again, Supra doesn’t fail to amaze the masses with their sneaker releases. This colorway of the Supra Suprano features a metallic purple upper, made of an almost foil-like material. The use of an all white midsole sets the shoe off nicely, while another sick feature would have to be the skinny strap that goes across the top.  If you’re one of those people who likes to switch up their style every once in a while, these should be a definite cop.
