This coming Saturday, April 4, 2009, the second model in Supra’s collaborative 413 series will release internationally. The vulcanized shoe features a chocolate premium leather upper and black laces and is a byproduct of the brand’s partnership with Spin Magazine and Subb’s B-B-Q. The Skytop is limited to a 1000 pairs worldwide, with each 413 outfit receiving 24 pairs each. To celebrate the South by Southwest Music Conference and Festival (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, Spin Magazine and Stubb’s Bar-B-Q join Supra to release a special edition Skytop. The sneakers come packaged in a wooden box numbered to 50. Inside the box is an apron and Stubb’s BBQ sauce. The Supra Skytop x Spin Magazine x Stubb’s Bar-B-Q will be going on sale this Friday exclusively at Stubb’s Bar-B-Q. Only 50 of these special packages will be sold, so get there early. As for an international release, a regular edition of this Skytop will be sold in the coming weeks.

Once again, Supra doesn’t fail to amaze the masses with their sneaker releases. This colorway of the Supra Suprano features a metallic purple upper, made of an almost foil-like material. The use of an all white midsole sets the shoe off nicely, while another sick feature would have to be the skinny strap that goes across the top.  If you’re one of those people who likes to switch up their style every once in a while, these should be a definite cop.

As mentioned before, the Deathwish x Supra Suprano has finally released in general Supra retailers. The Suprano features red leather throughout the shoe, and a removable velcro strap across the tongue. Under the strap is a mesh tongue that allows for great breathing and soft black inner lining. But the obvious distinct feature is the tattoo print of “Deathwish” across the back of the heel. These shoes are sure to turn heads from both skaters and shoe conoisseurs, especially at a price of $108.

Following up their NS Burgundy Collection, Supra is back at it again with the two new packages which have just dropped featuring the Skytop, Strapped and Trinity. Both sets have the same composition as the Burgundy Collection which was made up of patent leather on each of three sneakers. However instead of burgundy, it is bronze surfacing the different styles. Each model consists of a solid colored upper complemented by perforations found throughout the upper and black laces. If patent leather isn’t your thing, check out the Tie-Dye Grey Suede package which adorns the Skytop, Strapped and Trinity in buttery suede. The secondary color on this trio is purple which can be seen midsole, inner lining and laces for the Skytops.

Big brands in the sneaker world better move over, because Supra is making a huge name for itself.  We’re only three months into the new year, and they’ve already flooded us with a load of new shoes.  Many sneaker brands will have a few hot releases, then they’ll come with some nonsense, but Supra is a different story.  Their newest Vaiders feature a royal blue upper, with a white midsole and silver accents.  Along with the other Vaiders, this pair carries a vulcanized sole and a pretty sick sliding Supra logo on the tongue.

The White / Purple colorway of the Supra Cruizer is very reminiscent of the Air Jordan V (5) Grapes, and that didn’t sit too well with certain Jordan fans.  Nevertheless, Supra has stepped their game up with their latest White Fingerprint colorway of the Cruizers.  The unique fingerprint pattern is featured on the upper, along with black leather and black mesh on the side paneling.  Just like Supra’s Vaider model, these carry a sliding logo on the tongue.  Also, the tab at the back of the heel is useful for those who like to tuck their jeans into their shoes.  Whether you’re a skater or just someone who likes to get fresh, these will be an excellent addition to your collection.
