Here’s a look at a special edition of the Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) designed to commemorate King James’ past visit of the Nike Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon on July 17th, 2008. This pair of VIs was given to the employees at Beaverton in lieu of the the trip which has given this sneaker the name “World Tour”, also a reference to the Nike shirt Lebron was wearing noting the appearance. As for the sneakers themselves, they feature a black mesh upper, black patent leather, multicolored stitching at the midsole, a gradient swoosh and a red and yellow outersole. For those waiting on the Proper X Vans 2008 Holiday Collection to release, you can swing by the Long Beach retailer now to pick-up the new collaboration. Included are the Authentic One Piece LX, the Chukka Del Barco, and the Native American. Each is available in two color ways and will sport the Proper logo on the insole and a special multicolored tag attached to each of the sneakers. As most of us have seen by now, the late Heath Ledger’s performance as the Joker in The Dark Night was absolutely amazing. We are now seeing evidence that Kobe Bryant also found Ledger’s role to be great and has decided to release a colorway of his newest sneaker, the Nike Zoom Kobe IV, in order to commemorate the performance. Though the name of the colorway does not contain a direct reference to the Joker, anyone that has seen The Dark Night can easily relate the word, “chaos” with the Joker. The Nike Zoom Kobe IV “Chaos” features a multicolored upper consisting of a purple base with white, red, and silver accents. This colorway, along with all other colorways of the ZKIV, will include flywire technology and will weigh in at a mere 11.6 ounces. Nike’s Vintage collection is made up of several models mainly the Dunk High, Terminator, Vandal and now the Blazer High. Their collection has yielded sneakers that have been aged using yellowed midsoles, discoloration and creased toe boxes. This same effect is applied  to the Blazer High which is treated with a discolored outsersole and a nylon tongue. In addition, the Blazer Highs will consist of an old royal, pine green and varsity red suede upper with white on the swoosh, laces and heel tab.
