One of the most anticipated releases of 2009 has arrived online and is now available. The Persian Violet Nike Air Classic BW is coveted by many for its original color scheme of black, persian violet and white. The sneaker pairs a nice selection of materials with this colorway and includes the popular mesh design. In addition, the re-release of the Persian Violet Air Classic BW has not featured as many changes as past retros have undergone this year. This model mirrors the versions before it and is sure to please this holiday season. The Air Classic BW will be available starting January 1st, but you can find most sizes now on the ‘bay.

A new white on white Air Force I (1) will release in 2009. Nike has transformed the Air Force 1 from a basic white on white model to the shoes pictured (above). Significant changes to the design include: Silver accents on the back heel, an ice-blue translucent sole. The characters AF-1 appear to be screened on the insole in elephant print filling. It may not be the latest Nike 1World model, but this Sportswear women’s Air Force 1 is sure to please offering a simple colorway with some definition. This Air Force 1 is made up of a red and white theme with red making up the sneaker except for the white swoosh, sole, and inner lining. Textured panels are also found on this sneaker and appear on the front, lacing are and heel of the Air Force 1. The back story behind this Air Force 1 is still a mystery, but it could be expected to be designed for the February holiday of Valentine’s Day. With many flocking to stores to pick-up the Nike Air Max Tailwind ‘92 Retro – White / Tour Yellow / Red / Black, Air Tailwind ‘92 fans may have one more model to add on their list for early 2009. An original combination of white, orange blaze, varsity purple and black are placed on the sneaker along with suede and mesh. Although pictures of this Air Tailwind ‘92 have floated around the internet for quite some time now, Titolo has a full size run of the popular running model. For the thirteenth sneaker in the Nike 1World Collection, Clot is chosen to design the most recent Air Force 1 creation from the growing series. Clot’s main inspiration derives from the upcoming Chinese New Year and “pays tribute to the themes of luck, happiness and prosperity — as represented by the color red — which prevail during traditional Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations.” The sneakers are constructed from Clot Royale Deluxe Silk with embroidered Clot graphics. Furthermore, the sockliner is modeled after traditional green and white paper.  However, the most interesting feature may be the customization factor. When the red upper is peeled, burned or torn off , it reveals a layer of dark brown leather. This feature was incorporated to inspire people to “search what lies within.” Lastly, the Clot x Nike 1World Air Force 1 will be packaged in a special Chinese Candy Box keeping the tradition alive in their release. The Clot Air Force 1 will release on January 16th, 2009 only at JUICE (Hong Kong) or ACU (China). Via Clot.
