Last week, we showed you the Nike Safari Air Max 1 which is now available at select Nike Sportswear acounts and we now have pictures of a Nike Safari Terminator High. We are hearing rumors that these two releases are part of a larger Nike Safari Print Pack which will include many other sneaker models such as the Nike Dunk High Premium featured yesterday. This pair shown above yields an upper composed of many shades of gray precisely like that of the aforementioned Air Max 1. Also featuring a black swoosh and a cream midsole, this colorway is a bit out there and is not made for everyone. This pair leaves us wondering what other sneakers will make up this new Nike Safari Print Pack we are hearing of and also leaves us hoping that the others will be a little more toned down than this pair. Inspired by the  the early 90’s television series Twin Peaks, this Nike SB Dunk High Premium has hit retailers a few days prior to its initial release in January. Nike SB Dunk fans can expect to find premium leather and suede to accompany the black, green and red colorway. The sneakers include a black upper with green stitching and red inner lining. In addition, a blue owl is placed above the swoosh on the back heel, a reference to the show which also gave this Dunk High the nickname “Night Owl” early on when the shoes were first previewed. The Twin Peaks Dunk High Premium is now available at Caliroots and should be available worldwide withing the next few weeks.

Quannum Projects and Shoebiz of San Francisco, California have linked up with Reebok to present a limited edition set of Ventilators. Quannum Projects was founded in 1992 and formed on the campus of UC Davis. Their roster includes a long list of artists and a few of them have featured in the collaboration. The sneakers are inspired by the members of Quannum Projects, Lyrics Born, Lateef The Truthspeaker, DJ Shadow, and Blackalicious. The sneakers are available now in-store at Shoebiz and are being sold outside of San Francisco location via their online store.

House of Hoops by Footlocker is an extremely mismanaged micro chain of stores. Both store employees and upper management are resellers. I would never expect to find any heat at the House of Hoops. Instead, I would save my time and search eBay for the special makeups and colorways they have in Air Jordans and Nike shoes. Tomorrow, December 27, 2008, all three HoH locations will make available two exclusive colorways of the Air Jordan Melo M5. The first of these colorways was seen on Carmelo Anthony’s feet over the summer when USA won the gold medal in Olympic basketball in Beijing. This colorway features a white patent leather toebox, a navy midsole and the typical Melo M5 side pattern in a navy and white print. Also included on this colorway is the USA Basketball logo and the date of the opening ceremony, 8/8/08, on the tongue. The second colorway of the AJ Melo M5 yields the away colors of the Denver Nuggets. Featuring a black patent leather tongue, a university blue midsole, and a side pattern consisting of maize and university blue, this pair will definitely match with that Denver Nuggets’ jersey you have in your closet. Pictured above is the Los Angeles edition of the Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6). Earlier in the month the Miami Lebron VI was previewed sporting a bold look. However, the LA version tones things done with a subtle composition of grey upper along with red accents. Furthermore, a multicolored logo on the heel is found along with a white silhouette of James dunking. Lastly, this Lebron VI sports a midsole  featuring a graffiti design as seen earlier in the month on a different VI. Nike’s Air Force 180 has seen a rise in different variations over the past few weeks and has included a few interesting releases. The most recent make-up of the Air Force 180 is a combination of black, varsity red and varsity maize. Varsity red accents are found around the laces, on the tongue and on the midsole while maize is placed on the ankle strap and inner lining. Every year, Nike releases sneakers specifically made for Valentine’s Day, the February holiday which is looked forward to by many people. While the kids in school are giving each other Valentine’s Day cards or a couple is exchanging roses, Nike is producing sneakers that correspond to the holiday. Over the past few years, Nike has been switching it up and releasing different sneaker models inspired by the holiday, but one thing has stayed the same—the use of the color red. This Nike Air Force 2 High holds no exception and features an upper composed mostly of red leather with a heart and skull pattern.
