2009 is looking better and better each day for Nike Air Max 1 fans who are seeking simple colorways and material composition. This soon-to-be released Air Max 1 features a black, white and varsity red color palette with patent leather on the swoosh and ballistic mesh on the toebox. Although it may not consist of the favored traditional mesh, it does sport a very subtle colors scheme much like another Air Max 1 seen earlier this month. Prior to the NBA All Star game being played on February 15th, 2009 in Phoenix, the sneakers of choice of the participants will be seen over the next few weeks. Here’s a look at the adidas TS Creator designed for the adidas athletes on the Eastern Conference All Star team, possibly Dwight Howard. The TS Creator is made up of silver, obsidian and university blue. In addition, the all star logoman appears on the midsole with “EAST” written over it. Nike Dunk Low Classics took a severe drop in popularity after Nike starting releasing Nike Dunk SB’s which many saw to be more comfortable and better looking. Nike is now back at it again and it seems as though 2009 will bring some fresh colorways of the classic model. The Nike Dunk Low CL shown above is very similar to the Nike Dunk SB Low Bison that released in March of 2003 due to the fact that they both feature red suede in the front of the sneaker. This Dunk Low yields a tar leather upper accented by orange and red suede. The contrasting colors of the midsole and outsole give this sneaker a clean look. On top of all those different colors and materials, Nike has thrown an orange swoosh on it to freshen up that classic look. These are now available at your local Nike retailers including DQM.

Bobby Fresh latest creations for their Winter ‘08 line feature the late great Notorious B.I.G and Gene Simmons of KISS. The “Notoriously Fresh” shirt is available in black and white with writing in the back and front in turquoise and red respectively. The second shirt is designed around the recent Air Jordan 11/12 Countdown Pack. It reads “Lick My Kicks” with Gene Simmons licking the sole of the Bred Air Jordan XI (11). For those unfamiliar with the KISS rocker, he is known for his large tongue made most famous during his rock & roll days. All three shirts are now available exclusively at Bobby Fresh.

While adidas‘ aZX project was a smash hit, the sneaker brand looks to further their success with a collection of ZX models with the same quality minus the high-profile names. One of the few ZX styles previewed is this ZX 9000 featuring yellow, silver, light blue and violet. The ZX 9000 stays true to its roots by retaining a flamboyant colorway along with Torsion technology. The sneakers also come equipped with silver and white mesh and nylon. The ZX 9000 is scheduled to release early next year, but Overkill has them in stock now.

First it was a commercial of Kobe Bryant jumping over an Aston Martin and other obstacles to publicize the relase of the Nike Hyperdunk, but now it’s Bryant’s turn to promote his very own Zoom Kobe IV (4). The commercial features guest appearances by Mike Epps and DJ AM who play horse against each and loser has to give up his shoes. In addition to these celebrities, there are other stars in the video and includes the likes of some of the rarest sneakers ever including the Espo Air Force II (2) and Air Yeezy. Continuing with Nike’s latest obsession with the color black, Nike is set to release three new models with a full black colorway. Lately, we have seen the Nike Sportswear Lunar Racer – Black Collection and the Nike Sportswear Blackout Collection which both feature sneakers fully coated in black. These three pairs of black sneakers include the Nike Blazer High, the Nike Dunk High, and the Nike Air Force 1 Low. The Nike Blazer High is decked out in black from head to toe. The Nike Dunk High features a black upper, but also includes a clear sole and red accents. The last model of this installment, the Nike Air Force 1 Low, also yields a black upper, but a little color is added to this pair through the use of a gum sole. There is no word on an exact release date yet, but you can buy your pair today at A.R.C. in New York.
