A plethora of Nike Terminators have appeared with several of them releasing in the near future, here’s a preview of the Spring 2009 line. 2009 will see both men’s and women’s styles in high and low styles. Nike utilizes a strong palette of colors with eclectic materials and designs. We introduced you to the Nike Air Max Spot Up last month as Dirk Nowitzki’s first signature sneaker with Nike Basketball. The name of these sneakers is inspired by Dirk’s patented “spot-up” jumpshot that has cemented his legacy as one of the greatest shooting big men to ever play in the National Basketball Association. With this pair, Nike created a sneaker that perfectly complements Dirk’s “inside-outside” style keeping the weight low for moving off the dribble and providing high ankle support for attacking the rim. European exclusive colorways are always a huge hit amongst stateside sneakerheads and this pair will yield no exception. The Nike Air Max Skyline, Nike’s newest addition to their running line, is featured in a white and green colorway above. This color scheme seems to be an European exclusive and will most likely not be available at Nike retailers in the U.S. Featuring a white upper highlighted by a mesh toebox and accented by a green swoosh, this pair is not only comfortable, but also stylish. The comfortability aspect of this sneaker is further displayed through the large Nike Air bubbles under the heel of the sneaker. The Triumvir x Fly x Nike SB Dunk Mid Beijing made quite a splash this past November and will finally be releasing next month. The collaboration brings Triumvir, Fly Streetwear and Nike SB to release the Dunk Mid Elite SB Beijing. As noted before, the sneakers are heavily inspired by Bejing including its dust, traffic, highways, noodles, and Tienanmen Square. The sneakers consist of white and grey toned uppers with black appearing on the mid-section toebox and gold stitching around the swoosh. Kix-Files is now taking pre-orders and will ship out starting January 13th, 2009.

From releases like the Air Jordan 23 (XX3) all the way to the highly anticipated Air Jordan 11/12 Countdown Pack, 2008 has proven to be an epic year for Air Jordan fans. Now that 2008 is coming to a close and the new year is rolling in, all eyes are focused on Jordan Brand to see what they have in store for us in the upcoming year. Jordan Brand’s newest signature sneaker has yet to be given an official name and is still being referred to by many different titles including the Air Jordan 2K9, the Air Jordan 2009, and the Air Jordan 24 (XXIV). Several of Nike’s releases for next year will consist of the unmistakable Safari print that has already appeared on the Terminator High, Air Max 1 and Dunk High Safari. In addition to these models, Nike will be releasing a pack of Air Max 1 NDs just for women. The pack is made up of four different styles including black/red, white/turquoise, red/blue and purple/orange. Each sneaker will feature safari print on the side and heel.
