The hype behind the Nike Air Griffey Max GD II (2) has been alive for quite a while now. Back in 2009, we brought you a preview image of the some of 2010’s Nike samples, including the Air Griffey Max GD II, and last week, we brought you news that Griffey’s second signature sneaker will be making a comeback in a black/university blue colorway soon. Now, we present to you pictures of the black/varsity red Nike Air Griffey Max GD II (2), which will be making its way to retailers near you in April 2010. We recently reported that the Black/Varsity Red-White colorway of the Nike Air Max A Lot was available at your local retailers for $88, and we now have our first look at a new style of the same model. This time around, Nike’s basketball sneaker hosts a white upper with metallic silver accents seen on the gradient midsole, gradient “AIR,” and the inner lining. Another key aspect of this sneaker is the tongue, which showcases the two sneakers that were used as inspiration to create the Air Max A Lot, the Nike Air More Uptempo and Nike Air Pippen II (2). The re is currently no word on an exact release date for the White/Metallic Silver colorway of the Nike Air Max A Lot, so stay tuned for any updates.

Usually when we bring you news about the Vans Mountain Edition, it involves a fancy collaboration with another brand, such as Supreme, KnollTextiles, or Jahan Loh, but that is certainly not the case this time around. This Vans Mountain Edition Mid is the product of only the hard work from the folks over at Vans, and hosts a burgundy suede upper with bright red accents seen on the ankle panel and laces, while the midsole comes clean in white. The Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) has already been seen in a multitude of colorways, and we now have a look at two more styles of James’ newest signature sneaker. These two pairs are inspired by two of LeBron James’ “heroes,” or idols, Deion Sanders and Penny Hardaway. The Penny edition yields a white upper accented by a blue crackled swoosh, black toebox, blue inner lining, white midsole, and a blue outsole, while the Sanders edition features a full red upper accented by a white swoosh, black midsole, white outsole, and black laces. Unfortunately, neither of these two sneakers will be made available to the general public.

adidas is known to push the envelope on many of their sneakers, including all of the Jeremy Scott x adidas products, but this time around, adidas might have just created two of the most interesting sneakers we have seen in a while. adidas has just released the Transform Pack, which is composed of two sneakers that can transform into four sneakers. The first pair is the Stan Smith, and it begins with a high-top style, but after the use of a zipper, the high-top is transformed into a low-top Stan Smith. The Superstar from this pack begins with a grey upper, but the tongue can be shed to showcase a bright blue tongue and laces. The adidas Transform Pack is now available at your local retailers.

DJ Clark Kent has worked with Nike and has created some amazing sneakers in the past, including the “112″ Hyperdunk and the “112″ Air Force 25 Low. This time around, the silhouette of choice is LeBron James’ newest signature sneaker, the Air Max LeBron VII (7). This pair hosts a black upper with lime green accents seen on the midsole, swoosh outline, and laces, while 3M is used on the border of the entire midpanel. The tongue of this sneaker features a large “1″ with 112 written inside of it just to make it obvious that DJCK was involved with the design of this pair. Though the month of April is not yet here, today, we have our first look at some of April’s Nike SB releases. Next month, Nike SB will be releasing a colorway in each of the following models: Dunk SB Low, Blazer SB, and Classic SB. The Blazer SB will drop in a black/light graphite style and a matte silver/midnight navy colorway. In addition, the Dunk SB Low will release in a low obsidian/team red variation and a dark army Nike Classic SB is also set to release next month. All four sneakers are expected to release in April 2010.
