Retrospect Week 5 is in full effect and this weeks showcase is the Nike Air Command Force. Original release was back in 1991, and one of the great Basketball players of our past David Robinson wore during the season. The White/Black-Neon Green really makes this shoe stand out, but if you look closer you can see the eyelets are Blue (that was love at first sight). Another feature that the Nike Air Command Force contains and has disappeared without a trace from other sneakers is the pump system. Big thanks goes out to CT for the pictures. Do not worry, we did not forget week 4 of Retrospect, here we will showcase the Air Jordan Original VIII Aqua, since we just saw the retro’s this week we only thought it was fair. The Original Jordan Aqua VIII released in February 1993 and retailed for $125. This pair is really crisp, Dead stock for more than 14 years old. I can not wait for the Retro’s. Week 3 is here of Retrospect and we present to you a pair of Original Air Jordan XI Columbia. This pair released back in November 1995 and are nicknamed the All Stars because Michael Jordan wore them during the 95 All Star game. Week 2 of Retrospect is here, and we present to you a Original pair of Nike Air Penny II. The Air Penny II originally released in 1996 and is the second model in the Penny Hardaway line. To date, the Nike Air Penny II has never been retroed, but rumors are floating around for a release later this year.

We at Sneakerfiles thought it would be a great idea to show off a pair of sneakers from the 1980s-90s every Friday, since this is the first edition of Retrospect I decided to bring a pair out of my personal collection which I am proud to say I own, Air Jordan Original VI September (Sport) Blue.
