Perhaps the most attention-grabbing Puma Clyde’s of the recent past came in the form of the Africa and Raps pairs. Now, Puma has toned it down and instead added suede uppers to these pairs of Clyde’s that come in green and grey. Both pairs sport entirely white soles and the Puma brand name is put on the side by the shoe laces in a nice touch of gold. These are both available now from certain Puma retailers.

Puma has recently been making a good amount of noise as a result of things like a stylish suede Mid-V LE and the Silver Winner Pack. Now Puma is preparing for the Fall/Winter 2009 collection wither another set of nine suede silhouettes that’ll hopefully for Puma also make this a winning series. Puma is definitely not afraid to take risks, especially on silhouettes like its famous “Monster” one. But now it takes a different sort of approach. As part of a limited edition three-shoe collection, Puma has compiled the Suede Mid-V LE in a yellow, a black, and a white colorway. They all sit atop completely white soles and substitute shoe laces for four straps- giving us a different way to listen to Kanye and try “shoes with no shoe strings.” Because this collection is limited you’ll have to do some hunting to find a place near by that’ll have you covered with this release- thus, your best bet might be an online retailer. In a Winner Pack past, Puma has gone with gold accents to attract its fans. Now, this winner pack dons metallic silver. One pair comes in a predominantly metallic silver upper with white accents and a completely white sole. The second pair of this Winner Pack comes in a predominantly black upper with metallic silver accents, but the sole remains completely white. Both pairs sport a nice set of shoe laces that have metallic silver patterns throughout, the inner lining of both is also made of metallic silver, and a hardwood sole finishes off both sneakers. This past summer we gave you a look at some Puma Slipstream High’s that were part of a “Monster” pack. Apparently, Puma plans to add to this collection- starting with the Black/Red Slipstream High’s pictured here. This Monster sports a black leather base with red leopard print panels/tongue and a white sole. Certain Puma retail accounts have begun to receive a number of this limited edition pair. Puma made a HUGE splash with its collaboration alongside Japanese designer Mihara Yasuhiro. Puma’s Cell System is integrated into three Puma silhouettes to give the everyday athlete/trainer three shoes to choose from: a black-red Disc Blaze 10 Cell, a black-yellow Sky 2 Hi 10 Cell, and a black-green Mid Archive. With speckled midsoles and an emphasis on foot support, these three Puma sneakers should start to become available in December of this year.

The classic Puma Suede has been given some OG flavor as the Puma Suede now comes in a Fatlace pack. The iconic Suede is given a fatlace design for the Puma stripe, making it look as if a white, fat shoelace is coming out the side of the shoe.
