Puma has really taken the art look to heart this year, this has been demonstrated through the Pop Art pack and now this sketch looking set. Inspired by custom sneakers, the First Round High consists of three different color-ways, each consisting of a hand painted look and two different sets of laces. Here’s the latest from Puma, two Blaze of Glories and the First Round S. The Blaze of Glory is emerging as a favorite among Puma follower after releasing several interesting models including the ‘68 Mexico City Olympics and two collaborations with Sneaker Freaker. This time around, two different models have been releasing including a black, silver and grey model which also consists of metallic silver paneling, white arrow designs and a splattered mid-sole.
The Puma Suede has been transformed from a classic and simple sneaker, to a more complex and vibrant looking shoe. Drifting away from its subtle black, red, or blue upper with a white stripe, we get a look at the “Blacklight Snake” Suede which is made up of a black suede upper and a bright green stripe.
Although not a member of the Endangered Species collection, the latest Puma First Round calls upon yet another animal/activity for inspiration Deer and hunting. Featuring a glossy screen-printed deer design on both sides of the sneaker, brown ankle padding, white fur lining, light brown tongue and fir tree logo finish the deer hunting motif. To complete the sneakers are fluorescent orange laces to counter the brown tones. Available now at Overkill.
