Using premium leathers, the silhouette is transformed into something a bit more clean cut, featuring muted one-tone color pallets and black outsoles. Gourmet, a company that gained notoriety for anonymizing classic Air Jordan silhouettes, has really come into their own with their Spring 2010 collection. Utilizing the unorthodox material of pony hair, the collection is balanced with the use of premium leather and waxed laces. Japanese Brand Mackdaddy teams up with Fila to create this vibrantly colored Mack Squad model. The shoe’s tonal light blue upper is accented by hits of faux-fur and patent leather, giving the model a bit of depth in the texture department. Certainly a ‘hate it or love it’ colorway, if the whole unbelievably bright thing works for you, the sneaker is expected to hit retailers on November 14th.

Apple weren’t lying when they said they’d have an app for just about anything. They thought, along with Nike, what if someone needed to customize some Nikes but did not have computer access? Well, the problem is solved if that person is an iPhone user. Nike has released an iPhone app for Nike iD, so that anyone can make his or her own personal sneaker at the touch of a screen. You can customize, e-mail your result, or just go ahead and buy your one-of-one creation, all in the palm of your hand. The iPhone just got that much more props.

DC isn’t only about skating, they’re about anything on wheels. That’s why DC teamed up with SE Bikes to make the DC x SE P.K. Ripper 2010 Fixed Gear. The 2010 model is fairly different from its year-old predecessor, in that it uses a BMX style handle bar and stem. This neon orange/white fixie is available in seven different sizes to match your liking, but are limited to 800 in the U.S., and about 700 in quantity elsewhere in the world. Nike SB’s popular backpack model, the Eugene, has been fitted with a colorway to match that of this month’s Nike SB Blazer High release.  Previewed last month, the blood splattered Blazer colorway now becomes even more appealing, as few sneakerheads can resist the temptation of perfect bag/sneaker co-ordination. Utilizing the same Grey, Red, and White color scheme as its counterpart, the backpack is available now from Nike SB retailers like RMK — although the Blazer model is yet to drop.

Like him or not, Fat Joe has an ill sneaker collection, lots of platinum, plenty of cars, nine studio albums, and of course, front row courtside Knicks tickets. Joe’s Jealous Ones Still Envy (J.O.S.E.) released in 2001 and went platinum. J.O.S.E. 2 dropped today and will likely sell more than any record that you made! Don’t hate the rapper, hate politics. Don’t hate on his collection, hate that you envy it. We are all Sneaker Heads, sneaker connoisseurs, sneaker collectors… whatever. Joe’s an aficionado like us and we respect his art and hustle… Who cares if he’s not the only one with Kobe Jordan VII PEs?! Do you have them? Respect was Joe’s first hit record, and it’s only fitting. Jealous people are weak. Congrats to Joe for the release of his 9th studio album.
