After taking a closer look at the “Summit Lake Hornets” Nike LeBron 9, you may have decided that tracking a pair down will definitely be on your to-do list. If you’re not really taken by it, perhaps you’ll want to wait until February 14th to iD your own pair. Why? Well, because on Valentine’s Day, there will be a limited run of new iD options made available for the Nike LeBron 9. We can’t wait to see how much more control they give us over our colorways.

A few days ago, we first caught wind of Nike’s plans to offer us the option to implement elephant print onto our uniquely created pairs of Nike iD Air Force 1s. Well, beginning tonight at midnight, February 1, the Nike iD shop will go live with this option; and, we expect to see a good number of sneaker enthusiasts take advantage of this option in the coming months.

Nike has a plethora of iD releases slated for February, with none more important than the ability to customize your own pair of Air Force 1s with elephant print.

According to the NikeiD twitter account, the elephant print option will be available come February 1 at Midnight EST.

Mark your calendars and be sure to hit the site a soon as you can come February 1, as the option will only be available for a limited time.

With everything from the Air Max 2009 to the Zoom KD IV hitting NikeiD, customization of the Special Field Boot will soon be available as well.

Set to hit the website later this month, users will be able to customize the kicks to their liking with a number of suede and camouflage options available.

Look for the Special Field Boot to land on NikeiD on January 31.

Coming next month is one of the best options to ever hit NikeiD.

Beginning in February, users will have the option of customizing Air Force 1s with the iconic elephant print made famous by the Air Jordan III.

Now word yet on the exact date that the option will be available, but stay tuned for more info.

Beginning January 31st, NikeiD will have the KD IV available for customization.


Prices haven’t yet been revealed, but you have plenty of color options and quite a few performance options as well. The upper can be anodized, matte or reflective camo. Your midsole can be cushioned or responsive and you can have a solid rubber outsole or a translucent outsole featuring XDR.

Instead of getting frustrated with all the limited released colorways of the KD IV, you can now make your own and have it all to yourself.

It’s been a little over a week since we caught wind of Nike iD‘s plans to add the Zoom Kobe VII to its vast array of customizable sneakers. Today marks the first day of said incorporation, as the Nike Zoom Kobe VII is officially available for all of your wildest design interpretations. Naturally, the color cues are up to your discretion, but so are such things as the cushioning, cuff and even outsole. Expect to drop approximately $185 for your special colorway.
