Following the Nike Sportswear stores being erected in Tokyo and New York, the franchise store has now expanded to France as well- specifically the Marais neighborhood in Paris. The lifestyle store was erected in what used to be a bookstore, with the location’s interior being spruced up with graphics painted by French artists Antoine and Manuel who designed everything from carpets to murals to the wallpaper. The Paris-located Nike Sportswear store is ready to release tier zero apparel and other limited releases. To top it all off, this location also consists of an in-store NikeID studio for consumers to customize their newly purchased sneakers before even leaving the place. This sure has been a huge year for Nike, as it seems poised to continue making an immense international impact.

Apple weren’t lying when they said they’d have an app for just about anything. They thought, along with Nike, what if someone needed to customize some Nikes but did not have computer access? Well, the problem is solved if that person is an iPhone user. Nike has released an iPhone app for Nike iD, so that anyone can make his or her own personal sneaker at the touch of a screen. You can customize, e-mail your result, or just go ahead and buy your one-of-one creation, all in the palm of your hand. The iPhone just got that much more props.

Apparently, the great Nike iD news is not ending with yesterday’s report of the Air Max 1 being up for customization again soon. Apparently, Nike iD also has something especially for the women as well. The Nike Shox NZ has been made available with a slew of colors to be customized by you sporty women out there who, like many others, have chosen the Nike Shox as your workout/training sneaker. But you don’t have to substitute performance for style, as these can even be done up with a patent synthetic leather overlay. Moreover, Nike allows you to customize each individual shoe of a pair. It’s a plaid, plaid world out there, but we gotta live through it. That’s why Nike has come up with the Nike Sportswear Dunk High Skinny Checker Pack. Two dunk hi’s come in a blue/white and red/white colorway for Nike Sportswear’s Fall 2009 collection. The shoe uses a plaid upper and nylon toebox, along with a white leather swoosh to match with the white midsoles. This time around, the sole isn’t just the main color, but with a white section as you can see from the pictures. Too bad these aren’t releasing soon because they would go great with your picnic tablecloth.
