Kobe Bryant was Nike’s main advocate for the Hyperdunk as he endorsed the sneakers in commercials before breaking out his own Zoom Kobe IV (4). Nike fused the two early on in the NBA season as Bryant was seen in this hybrid sneaker that consists of Flywire technology and the sole of the ZKIV. Featured is the colors of the Los Angeles Lakers away jerseys which consists of black, white, purple, and gold. Black is the main color while yellow is found on the Flywire, swoosh border and accents. Purple and white are the other two colors making up this hybrid and appear on the swoosh and midsole. Nike kicked off the launch of the Hyperdunk with various ads to promote their new sneaker and included the controversial “That Aint Right” poster. The ad was ultimately taken down due to its supposed explicit content and has resurfaced in the form of a trio of Hyperdunks. The “That Aint Right Pack” is made up of the Hyperdunk available in black/university blue/white, white/varsity red/black, white/midnight navy with each model sporting the slogan on the icy sole.
