Purple and yellow always go nicely together. Thus, Nike is releasing the color combination into two different Nike Dunk Highs. The Nike Dunk Hi comes in purple/black/white and yellow/black/white colorways. The first uses a black suede toebox, purple suede swoosh, metallic silver perforated heel panel, and white midsole atop a purple outsole. The latter uses a black leather upper with yellow swoosh on a white midsole and yellow outsole, which is very reminiscent of the Goldenrods. These are set to release this October, so if you’re planning to rep the Lakers for Halloween, don’t forget to cop these shoes!

The Three Bears Dunk SB pack from Nike was a hit with many sneakerheads. Now we have something to report that will remind many of the Baby Bear low from the aforementioned pack. We now have pictures of a supposed 2009 sample of a Nike Dunk Low SB dubbed by some as the “Chirping Bird.” The reason for the alias is that, if you push down on the thin tongue that every sample has, then you’ll hear a bird chirping. For how many of you does this sample surpass all of the shoes that made up the Three Bears pack? For how many of you is this easy to look passed? Nylon always looks good with Nike Dunks. This time, the Nike Dunk Hi Nylon Premium comes in a black/green spark-citron colorway. The nylon Dunk uses an all black nylon upper, with a green spark leather swoosh to match the inner lining and tongue tag. The black on black shoe is nicely contrasted by the green, as well as citron laces. These Dunks are available now online overseas for a hefty $160, so let’s wait til these make a U.S. release.

Not many sneakerheads can or will ever forget about the Nike SB “Day of the Dead” Dunks, whether it be because of the immaculate patent leather and icy sole combination or the hype surrounding its release in only Mexico and Canada. This year, Nike is revving up to drop three more sneakers paying tribute to the Mexican holiday celebration that takes place in November of every year. The Nike Dunk Low comes in a light purple and green colorway with a pattern of skeletons throughout the entire shoe. The Nike Dunk High sports a similar pattern and green check but on a predominantly black base. And the Nike Air Max 90 is dressed in almost an identical makeup to the Dunk High. You can expect these to drop on or around October 24th. Coupled with the Halloween season and Day of the Dead celebration, one, two, or all three of these will surely be greatly coveted. But keep in mind that these Halloween time releases are usually very limited.

The Nike Destroyer’s Pack past consisted of solely (no pun intended) Nike Dunks. This year’s pack has expanded to the Nike Air Force 1 as well. The previously reported on Ultraman Nike Dunk High makes up one of this pack’s dunks. The second dunk contains perforated leather just like the Ultraman’s do. It’s made up of a white and orange base and black heel that also contains an orthodox but subtle pattern of lines. And lastsly, the aforementioned Nike Air Force 1 comes in a mid-cut with a predominantly black base, white sole, and yellow accents near the tongue, strap, and upper heel. While the Ultraman’s have been spotted at Nike retailers already, the other two should be dropping at Nike retailers also, as early as today.

Women all around the world are constantly receiving special attention and treatment- as well they should. The Nike brand would definitely, and evidently does, agree. Earlier this year we showed you the Nike Dunk 6.0 Coral, which was a manifestation of the aforementioned female attention. Now, Nike has prepared a new Women’s Dunk Hi 6.0 capable of capturing the hearts of both sexes. Pictured here is a Dunk Hi 6.0 model that contains a variety of purple hues with black and white accents. Most interesting are the side panels and heel on this colorway, which consists of what can be described as a “purple blueprint.” The shoe is rounded out with a purple toe box, light purple/pink shoe laces, and a matching colored icy outsole that acts as the cherry on top. These might be a little more difficult to get a hold of, but after the jump we have for you one spot who can take care of those of you already salivating over this ornate Nike Dunk 6.0.

Just last week we informed you of a Nike Dunk High to be released in a Black/Sail colorway. Well, we’ve already come across what looks like that sneaker’s twin brother- the Nike Dunk High in a similar Obsidian/Sail colorway. This dunk sports the same “sail” colorway on the upper, but contains dark obsidian nylon material on the toe box, side panels, and inner lining. Moreover, this version’s sole is white, has a dark blue Nike check, dark blue laces, and still sits atop a bubble gum outsole. Expect these to drop at Nike retailers in February of 2010.
