The Nike Dunk high is now unquestionably etched in sneaker culture history- just like the Nike Air Force 1 and Air Jordan signature series. So this news is bound to excite many of you. In August of 2003, a collection of three pairs of the- what is now famous- Nike Dunk Supreme high released in baby blue, red, and orange. For the spring season of 2010, the Nike team has prepared a set of three more Nike Dunk highs that will undoubtedly jog our memories back to those SB Supreme highs. Pictured here is a set of baby blue/white, red/white, and orange/white Nike Dunk highs almost identical to the aforementioned Supremes, except that they are not from the SB line and do consists of the gold stars. Moreover, one more difference seems to be that the orange pair will come in 2010 with a set of baby blue laces, which was not the case with its SB Supreme counterpart. Towards the end of August we brought you an early look at a pair of gold and a pair of silver Nike Dunk Highs each draped in metallic material. Now that the shoes have begun to become available through certain Nike retailers, we can provide you a much closer look at the execution on each of these shoes. Something that stands out with the gold pair is that the mid-panels are actually black, whereas the silver pair consists of silver on the mid-panel as it does on the rest of the shoe. In the fourth week of October, we brought you an early look at the Nike SB Dunk Mid that sports a “Chocolate” colorway and is accented by yellow shoe laces. Moreover, the shoe has a dark midsole, Nike swoosh, mid panels and heel. While these were officially scheduled for a November release, the early find meant a steep price hike. Jersey’s all set for Summer 2010 with the latest leak from NJ Skateshop’s collabo with Nike SB. The NJ Skateshop x Nike SB Dunk High NJ/USA Sample has been leaked by the shop themselves. The Dunk High looks as if it uses different fabric materials on the upper, including a red/white stripe pattern at the back ankle to contrast the dark colors of the upper. A red swoosh makes this dark shoe stand out, along with its white midsole, which sits atop a black outsole. The NJ logo is placed at the side heel to rep who’s up on this shoe. This is set for an Independence Day 2010 release; what a patriotic way to celebrate come summer 2010.

It’s been a while since we last saw a glimpse of Nike SB’s November Dunk release. Today, Caliroots gives us a detailed look at the Nike SB Dunk Mid Premium in the dark chocolate colorway. The Nike Dunk Mid features a full chocolate brown suede upper with brown nubuck panels and a dark midsole. The shoe definitely takes after a classic boot design, as the boot laces give it away. The outsole is donned in a sparkling opaque detail to add some flavor to the mix. The suede upper really gives this SB a boot-feel, making this a clean pair of shoes to do just about anything in. Last week we were really excited to report that this year’s edition of the Nike Dunk (High) “Day of the Dead” was going to release ON Halloween from out of stateside House of Hoops locations. Unfortunately for fans of this shoe, like myself, we have now received word of another Nike flip-flop: this Nike Dunk High “Day of the Dead” will not be made available at House of Hoops. If something changes again, we’ll obviously and most definitely relay that information to you. However, it seems like- at least for now- you’ll have to do a little more hunting than a big House of Hoops location to get your hands on these.
