This Blazer Mid comes in a clean black/lucky green-metallic silver colorway. Nike is definitely bringing out boots in all types of forms to get ready for the coming winter months. As a result, silhouettes like the Air Jordan Spizike have released in winterized forms. This time, the Nike Blazer was the latest victim to the boot regime, as the Nike Blazer Mid ACG has been given another colorway to fit the central theme of boots. The Nike Blazer Mid ACG comes in a light chocolate/light chocolate-dark cinder colorway, enforcing a brown earth tone to the shoe. The upper uses a dark brown weathered crocodile skin upper with a brown suede swoosh. Metal eyelets keep to the boot theme, along with a yellowed midsole and brown boot outsole. A suede ACG tongue tag and brown leather inner lining make this ACG model a premium must-buy at a price of $144.

With the Halloween season suddenly upon us and Nike’s history of sneaker releases that commemorate the holiday, it’s no surprise that much attention is being given to the splattered red Nike Blazer. But because Nike always seems to be looking forward, we to want to keep you up to par with the latest Nike news. Today, it comes in the form of the Nike Blazer “Blaze Out” pictured here, which is a re-working of the Nike Blazer and is set to release in Spring of 2010. When earlier we reported on the “Blue Foamposite” Nike Blazer High, it created a great stir among sneakerhead circles. We now have received word that another Blazer containing similar materials, but a stealthier colorway will be arriving at House of Hoops locations sometime this holiday season. The only parts of this pair that is not decked out in foamposite material are the Nike check and outsole. While the shoe laces and Nike swoosh are made of suede, the back heel also sports a white “NIKE” logo that brings the shoe it’s only source of brightness. Since Long Beach got a Nike Big Nike dedicated to it, why not commemorate Chicago and New York as well? Nike did just that by releasing two Nike Blazers that pay homage to the two cities. The Nike Blazer High Premium comes in a black/red colorway and navy/white colorway. The first is known as the “312 Chi City,” and uses a full black leather upper with black patent leather swoosh and red contrast stitching. It sits atop a white midsole with black vulcanized toe. Also, the tongue tag features a 312 logo and the back ankle panel reads “Chicago” to full rep the city. The other Blazer is known as the “Big Homie NYC” and features a navy suede upper with a silver reflective swoosh, which sits against a giant stitched “NYC” logo. “Big Homie NYC” is read on the tongue tag to finish repping the East. These are both out now at select Nike retailers.
